whats in my shower

What is currently in my shower ...

This is just a quick snippet of what is currently in my shower now this changes quite a lot and things can come and go from week to week im constantly wanting to start something new before iv finished what im wanting to replace it with anyone like this ?

Herbal essences bee strong shampoo and conditioner

I change my shampoo and conditioner so frequently its literally what ever is on offer at the supermarket at the time (click the link for a amazing offer from amazon) i thought I would give this a try as I do bleach my hair and it does get very weak so i was hoping this would give my hair a little strength, now as for shampoos as long as it cleans my hair I never really see much of a difference conditioners is were it lies for me I tend to use the normal conditioner 2-3 times a week and use the hair mask about twice a week and leave it on whilst im doing what im doing in the shower. My hair has felt soft and conditioned smooth and I have noticed I haven't had as many breakages as I would have normally after say just dying my hair. I would recommend this but dont think it would be a long term solution as my hair tends to get used to products and I have to switch them up.

I absolutely love all soap and glory bath / body products I always try make sure I get either 1 or two of the big Christmas boxes when they go on sale so it lasts me through out the year. The sugar crush lathers up and the scent is amazing its like brown sugar and lime its so refreshing and leaves your bathroom smelling amazing .

I was very lucky in deed to receive two of the Vera Wang Princess perfume box sets this Christmas and they came with a moisturiser and a body polish which to be honest I just expected to be a shower gel and the scent wont last but was very pleasantly surprised the scent does last and sticks to your body and it also has tiny particles in so can be used as a exfoliator aswel . Now to me I think this is a treat I wouldn't go out and purchase this as a permanent part of my shower routine as its pricey and I would go through it far to quickly.

Schwarzkopf BC colour freeze

This is my hair saviour I will always buy the bigger bottle 1L over the smaller 200ML as there isn't to much of a price difference and the bigger bottle last soo much longer, This basically is a toning shampoo its a deep purple and just basically takes as all the brassy tones out of my hair usually your supposed to use it a few times a week not every time you shampoo and not to leave it on to long as it can send your hair a purple shade. Whenever I get in the shower I will use it and try leave it on my hair for around 5 minutes I love how it takes all the brassiness away its defiantly the best purple shampoo I have ever used I do tend to keep it on longer than I should as I love the purple tone it leaves in my hair.

Current skincare

My current skincare loves day and night....

I like to think my skincare routine is quite a simple one and after much swapping and changing I think I have found a combination that works for me, I have combination skin my t zone can get oily not massively but enough to know its there and I can also get dry patches around my fore head chin and around my nose strangely but with the products below they help me over come all this and help towards a normal combination.

It has taken me a while to find a cleanser that really works for my skin I started by using the peaches and clean by soap and glory for a long time until it started to break me out and really irate my skin leaving it red and sensitive, I purchased the no7 clarasonic dupe and bought this cleanser to go with it hoping it would clear my skin up and never looked back since, the cleanser its self is a yellow toned thick oil sort of texture and all I do is squeeze a little bit out (a little goes a long way) and rub it all over my face. With it been oil based it cuts through all make up and grease once I have given my face a good scrub I just wet a flannel and place over my face to remove the cleanser. I really have noticed a difference my oily t zone is no longer a problem and I don't have as dry skin as I once did it makes your face feel super clean and I would defiantly recommend.

I love toners no matter how well you think you have taken all your make up off you can almost guarantee after toning looking on that pad you will find some sort of make up trace, I cant really say that this toner is any thing amazing or special I bought it to try as it was on offer and I thought I would have a change, its just a basic toner I much prefer the pore minimising cleansing toner from simple and its cooling soothes and I did see a difference in my pores

I have tried countless amounts of moisturisers I have so many half used tubes lying about my bedroom its unreal but non of them have compared to the Nivea one I usually get dryer patches around my nose and sometimes on my chin and after a few hours of wearing foundation it can start to show up as patchy but with this product I don't have to worry. The product itself I though would be very thick but its not and really sinks in to your skin after a few minutes it leaves your skin feeling smooth and leaves a good base for make up absolutely love this.

 Night routine ....

After I have cleansed and toned before I moisturise if I have any little friends on my face I put a dab of this stuff on them it is amazing! its a clear gel and stings a little  once you apply it to any breakouts but does a fantastic job it really helps clear up any problem areas it contains salicylic acid witch can be drying but as it is a gel I haven't had any problems with it. The one I have is the old soap and glory packaging which I do prefer the one linked is the new packaging  I found is quite difficult to repurchase things when they have first changed over any one else?

This is one of those products that I could not live with out now after turning the grand age of 26.. and noticing a few fine lines under my eye area I purchased this to be honest the gimmick of the product is what drew me in but I would litrally never look back now its amazing! You pop a tiny ammout under your eye rub it in then as it is drying I go in with the vibrating top usually for about 40 sec each eye I have noticed that when im applying my under eye conceeleer there are no lines for it to sonk in to and my bags have virtually disappeared, now im not sure if its the cream itself or if its the vibrating top that helps but whatever it is its amazing. I would look around tho as you can get it cheaper from other retailers.

I used to always think that if I was to put anything on my face before bed that it would somehow break me out or I would wake up with patches on my face, over the winter I decided to jut go for it and buy a night cream as i'm not getting any younger and wanted to see what sort of difference it would make. It is a thick cream and you only need a little I put it all over my face and own my neck it soaks in amazingly and I don't feel greasy when I wake up it helps with my dry skin and i'm glad I choose to start using a night cream.

This is a new product in my day/night routine iv always wanted super thick stunning lashes and only been able to find those whilst wearing falsies , naturally my lashes are quite long but very fair and not exactly full so after browsing amazon and getting sucked in to one of those hours long shopping black holes I came across this product iv never heard of this before and with it been cheap I snapped it up. I haven't seen much of a difference yet but your expected to use it for around a few months before you see any real differences so I will keep you posted and if there is any magical transformation I will let you know . P.S ignore the packaging my dog fancied a taste lol

Feb 2014 glossybox ...be mine

Its that time of month again (not literally) for the glossybox to be popped through my post box the last few boxes I have received have really made me think about wanting to quit my subscription but held on as this months box was promised to be a good one...

( it did contain a lindt chocolate bar but I ate it )

The first thing that caught my eye was the Ciate paint pot in the colour raspberry Collins I love the design of the bottles and the formula, it was a nice treat for my nails as they retail for £9 a go and I wouldn't be shelling out that much for one as I think there are cheaper options out there.I was a bit disappointed as I had received a very similar colour from a earlier box it was called jelly bean and was identical apart from having a slight blue undertone to it, I was unable to find any of the colours on the website that makes me think they have possibly been discontinued.

I have only just recently started wearing eyeliner so this was a good test product for me and I was very interested in the concept of the whole liner as it is a very unusual shape with me been used to the pencil type liner or pen. It claims you don't need to sharpen the product if you use it sideways, I do think there is a lot of wasted packaging in which more product could have fit in if they had made it a twist up liner  is currently priced at £5.99. It did have a good stay power not amazing but ok I don't think I would repurchase this item but it was nice to give it a go.

My very first impressions of this product was that it reminded me of my grandma and something she would have in her bathroom, the smell of the product was ok but im not a massive fan of floral/rose smells. When I popped some on I was surprised how wet the product was I was expecting it to be a thicker product it does give a nice even shimmer to your body and the smell does last a while, the full size 50ml bottle is priced at £14.00 which I defiantly would not pay for but if your a body shimmer lover this could be good for you .

I was happy to receive some eyelashes as I wear
them pretty much everyday now apart from non
make up days after my lash extension crisis :-/
I didn't really think anything much of them until
I was linking the product to the website were you can buy them and low and behold there made from real hair not something I was expecting to me they still feel plastic but are under the real hair part of the website so am excited to try this product.

I love hair products and I was so pleased it wasn't another hair oil as I seem to have quite the collection from glossybox over the past months, the 'gum' has a funny smell to it I can only describe it as a cheap smelling product like the make up that you could get as a child. For my hair personally I don't think its a product I will be using but will gladly pass it on to a friend who wears a wax product.

Sp that was my review / thoughts of the Feb glossy box what were your thoughts?

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer!

Sooo I did jump on the band wagon when these were released and as they were on 3 for 2 at boots I had to get 3 of course be rude not to :-) back then they were selling for £5.99 but looking now they are £4.99 on 3 for 2 I don't know if this is a permanent price change or not.
I do love the packaging these come in its very sleek looking but not very easy to find at the bottom of a bag :-)
the product itself is described as
" The intense rich colour of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin smooth shine. The earth-shattering lip lacquer from Rimmel London"
I have read a few reviews with mixed opinions but this is what I think:
Now I really do like this product they are sort of creamy like a lipstick wet looking like a gloss without the sticky texture and after 2-3 hours when they start to wear away they do stain and I don't need to worry about them slipping or finding any creases because they always seem to stay we're you apply them.
I have really dry lips in the cold weather we seem to be having and even with that to compleat with they do a really good job, once they start to dry out they do tend to leave your lips feeling tight like it could crack on your lips it doesn't but I just re apply and were off again.
At the moment this is by far the best lip product for my lips I think I need to shop around for a decent lip balm ( recommendations welcome :-)) then I can start using lipsticks again.

Did anyone else follow the hype? What do you think?

Barry m gelly hi shine nail polish!

I started off with just one of these polishes a while ago and it has been sat on my shelf for a while and I never really used it if I'm honest, when I first did use it I thought nothing of it really it was super shiny but at the time I didn't think it was anything special, then I bought a second and I instantly fell in love! I don't know what it was that made me change my mind but these are my favourite nails polishes and can say they will be for a long time.i think it's dye to me been lazy with topcoats and never really bothering to put one on but these are like a 2-1 a polish and a shiny topcoat :-) and you can't really go wrong for £3.99 and they are usually on some sort of offer.
The coverage is good you do need 2-3 coats for a good block of colour depending on how you like your nails covered, the only thing that lets it down is the wear time I work in a clothing shop and my nails do get a bit of a battering due to deliverys ect more than others and I M still yet to find a polish that will last at least a day without the odd chip but apart from that I think these are good all rounders. I have some swatches below excuse the paper I have run out of nail wheels :-)

So what do you guys think of these polishes? Are they worth it ? Do you like love hate? Let me know :-)
